That is a question that faces many companies with regards to adapting to a new generation made up of digital natives.While production has changed dramatically in the last century, with automation and AI tools coming online as we speak, the management structure has not evolved at the same pace.Most businesses are not designed for what we refer to as ‘complexity.’ They may be designed for things that are complicated, where we may not understand everything that is happening at each step of the process, but the outcome is fairly predictable. In order for this to happen, old management structures need to evolve so that employees are given more autonomy.
